PRIMARY PURPOSE

To provide fast, easy, flexible ad friedly service to our customers through the achievemet of Food Lio customer service stadards. To be friedly, courteous ad cooperative with other store associates. Resposible for assistig the Customer Service Maager ad the Assistat Customer Service Maager i maitaiig stadards accordig to Frot Ed Stadard Practice Maual, maximizig sales through excellet customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Smile ad provide prompt, accurate ad friedly service while egagig customers to create a positive shoppig experiece
• Greet each customer ad uses his or her ame wheever possible
• Uload customers' groceries from cart to belt-uload items for ease of baggig such as groupig cold items together
• Check the bottom of every cart ad uder all baby seats for items before completig a order
• Follow correct baggig procedures for the correct use of bags by type
• Sca customers' order ad hadles the paymet trasactio, per stadard practice
• Avoid persoal coversatios with other associates whe customers are preset
• Follow procedures i hadlig cash, checks, coupos, gift cards, parter cards, food stamps ad WIC vouchers
• Follow procedures for refuds ad error correctio
• Make every attempt to maitai accurate cash cotrol
• Follow procedures ad performs overrides
• Idetify customers eedig assistace ad offers to take the customer's order to their car
• Maitai alertess ad calls for assistace whe eeded to service customers per service stadards
• Check prices quickly ad accurately
• Is courteous ad helpful to other associates
• Wear the Food Lio uiform with apro, complete with ame badge, whe o duty, has a eat ad clea appearace while adherig to the Food Lio dress code
• Retrieve shoppig carts from the parkig lot ad cart corrals utilizig the tether strap per stadard practice
• Esure work statio ad frot ed area of the store has a eat ad clea presetatio
• Report ay register malfuctio to the Customer Service Maager or MOD
• Esure the MVP savigs ceter KIOSK is filled with paper ad properly workig
• Adhere to all compay guidelies, policies ad stadard practices
• Observe ad correct all usafe coditios that could cause associate or customer accidets
• Notify QA of ay cleaig issues or maiteace required o frot ed
• Successfully complete computer based traiig (CBT) ad traiig aid courses
• Perform all other duties as assiged

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or equivalet preferred
• Effective commuicatio ad customer service skills
• Ability ad willigess to lear multiple tasks ad techical requiremets of the job
• Ability to perform the techical requiremets of cashier ad service ceter
• Must meet miimum age requiremets to perform specific job fuctios
• Must be able to meet the physical requiremets of the positio, with or without reasoable accommodatios

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to use computers ad other commuicatio systems required to perform job fuctios
• Perform repetitive had ad arm motios
• Bed ad lift products weighig up to 15 lbs. cotiuously, 25 lbs. frequetly, ad 50 lbs. o occasio
• Pull or push up to 75 lbs. o occasio
• Stad 100% of the time, frequetly walkig short distaces
• Be able to hadle a variety of substaces associated with cleaig ad packagig materials, fresh fruits, vegetables, house plats/flowers ad household cleaers
• Use hads to frequetly/cotiuously hadle currecy (paper ad coi) as well as operate a variety of equipmet such as cash register, lottery machie (where applicable), scaer, computer, ad calculator
• Frequet reachig ad graspig at waist level: occasioally above shoulder or below waist level
• Meet established volume activity stadards for the positio
• Tolerate workig i extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 miutes at a time
• Have sufficiet visual ability to check ID cards, checks, ivoices ad other writte documets
• BOTTLES where applicable: Move empty bottles ad cotaiers from the frot ed to the back room

Salary rage is betwee $15.00 - $22.50 Hrly
